When: Saturday, January 1, 2000 I will be adding fishing reports as I go along. This is the first, July 30, 2008. Fishing below the Melton Hill dam has been outstanding the past month when they are generating. They generate most days in the afternoon beginning around 2:00PM plus or minus an hour. The best time to catch the really big guy and gals is in the first 45 min. to one hour afte the generators come on. They will average 35 to 44 inches and can weigh up to 32 lbs. More later.  When: Friday, March 6, 2009 March 6, 2009, Fishing at Melton Hill and Fort Loudon Dams. The 2009 fishing season at the dams has not gotten under way yet. The water temp. In the rivers is in the mid forties and the spawning run has yet to begin. Several trips have produced little results so far. When the water temp. reaches 55 degrees the action will take off and I expect the year to produce a lot of really big fish.
